Default I Fight for Ascalon

Just a little poem I made.

The beasts have awaken,
With the wall dead,
They invade our land,
Our hearts full of dread.

We suffer and struggle,
Defending our land,
But no matter our strength,
We will never be grand.

No matter the number
We shall still fall.
No matter the power,
We give it our all.

Prince Rurik proclaims,
To escape from our city,
But how can I leave,
When my heart is full of fury?

I stand here and fight,
Defending my honor,
My pride and glory,
Have made me stronger.

Though defeat is near,
And my death is close,
My path is clear,
My spirit still grows.

I will set forth to fight,
To the enemy,
War has no end,
Without remedy.

I made one about Sorrow's Furnace:

The stench
Unforgiving, unmistakable
The heat and musk enough to make your heart wrench
So palpable
The darkness overcomes
The darkness overcomes
Feel the rise and the run
The great heart beats
Once, twice, thri-
It flutters
Quietly, softly, it beats for light
For on that night
The pale white light shone
The darkness overrun
The darkness overrun
The beasts of shadow moan
For there, in the white light of that cool Shiverpeak night
Stands a hero

I also made one about the Echovald Forest:

Frozen in time
Frozen in rhyme
Your trees do indeed ring
The gnarled bark does sing
O Echovald
O Forest
Why doth thou cry?
You've been remembered a thousand times
Your branches of limestone
Gilded not with gold
But jade, sturdy as the earth you reach into
Feel our shame o forest of pain
Lament no more
Your tragedy
Your demise
Wonder in our eyes
Why doth thou cry Echovald?
Why doth thou cry?

Sort of made them up on the spot in response to your post (nostalgic I guess) so it's not my finest, be gentle = P

The only problem is I've never heard of those places.

(Yeah I'm really behind on the campaigns >_<.)

I made one about my morning routine:

I wake up in bed
My tum tum hungry
for some yum yum
we have, no yum yum.

I wake up in the morning,
Hungry in bed,
Wanting some toast,
Wanting some bread.

Add butter to the toast,
And sugar to the coffee,
Would you like a candy?
Perhaps even a toffee.

Now it's time to work,
I depart on my way,
I smile at the parkway,
Today's a good day.

A different version on that:

Drowsy, noisy
Lights flashing
Dogs barking
The hand, my hand, snaps out
The sleep button, engaged to stop the shout
Of alarms, drumming my ears with the cool pitch
The rich pitch of a constant lit fit
My stomach, oh my stomach
The hangover, dragging it's way to my head
I get out of bed
I see a goddess
A goddess that brought us
Wrought by us
Water in a porcelain glass
I kneel before the porcelain goddess
